Horse: A Representation for a Modern and Mechanical Age
Poster design for a museum lecture
The Objective: Design a poster for a lecture on Marcel Duchamp-Villon's piece Horse with typography that correlates with unique features of the sculpture.
The typefaces Franziska OT and Syntax LT Std were chosen because of how the thick and thin weights in the type correspond to the blocky, rounded, and slender forms of the sculpture, and the overall composition highlights the sculpture's defining features.
